Door View Cam

hi. I bought door view cam from amazon uk 4 days ago. but unfortunately, the cable is not enough to conect it for almost another 1-2 cm. I tried to extend the cable with the spare one but it doesn't activates the camera. can I return it back and purchase video doorbell pro?
