  Hi @JoelR. At this time, there is not an option to have your Ring Chime or Chime Pro play a different alert sound for when a person is detected via the [Smart Alerts](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032947972-Refining-Your-Motion-Alert-Notifications-for-People-and-Other-Motions-) feature. However, you're welcome to add this suggestion to our [Feature Request](https://community.ring.com/c/products/24) board. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. Feel free to link that post you make in the Feature Request board here so other neighbors that come to this thread can easily find your feature! :)

[/quote] That is very disappointing. I checked the "Feature Request" board and this has been identified by others as a needed feature. I am a new Ring user and am disappointed to see the lack of useful features. I hope Ring does not follow the trend of other Amazon products where software updates slow or stall completely.
