Charing Ring Video Doorbell 2
I currently have a Ring Video Doorbell 2 that I have to charge every few months. I am moving to a new house that has a physical door bell. I moved the Ring Video Doorbell 2 to the new home and connected it and the bell rings successfully. My question is do I still have to charge the battery every few months or does the battery charge since it is hardwired?

My question is do I still have to charge the battery every few months or does the battery charge since it is hardwired? Hello @mannymendez25 , Once you complete the Ring Video Doorbell 2 setup for your new house location, it should be "trickle-recharging" off the wires that connect to the house's physical doorbell. To verify this, go to the "Device Health" of the Video Doorbell 2 and it should display, "Power Source - Hardwired" and the current battery charge level status. Also look on the Video Doorbell's "Device page" for the Battery icon in the upper-right-corner. The Battery Icon should have a "lightning bolt" in the center of the battery icon, which confirms it is recharging the battery, and you should no longer need to remove the battery to recharge it like you had to before. If you do not see the "lightning bolt" or the word "Hardwire", then push the reset button and re-do the Ring Doorbell setup. I hope you find this information useful. :)
