Spotlight Cam Pro alerting for every vehicle on Alexa when set to record only
I’ve got the spotlight cam pro that has always had smart motion alerts to record/alert for person detection, and then record only for vehicle/other. This has worked fine for well over a year. It is hardwired. In the last two days it has starting alerting me through Alexa only (not the iPhone app) for every vehicle that passes (after finishing its recording interval). I’ve tried switching smart alerts on/off, I’ve rebooted the camera several times, I’ve rebooted my modem, I’ve switched the camera off/on, I’ve toggled alerts on/off on the Alexa app. I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the app. I’m even randomly getting Alexa announce the spotlight cam alert at night when alerts are set to snooze on that camera (they should only alert if it’s our doorbell camera). Is there anything I’m missing or has anyone any experience with similar happening and found a solution please? I’m actually wondering whether to disable the Alexa alerts only (if I can) and rely on it actually notifying me on the phone if there’s a person detection.

We also have this exact issue! We've had to resort to turning off general motion notifications which is not ideal

Hi @user_ae5f05. Given that the motion detection and alerts are working correctly in the Ring app, the issue seems isolated to the Ring and Alexa integration. Try unlearning the Ring Skill in the Alexa app, then relearning it. Verify that the settings all look correct, then monitor how the integration is performing. If you're still receiving motion alerts from Alexa when you aren't from the Ring app, please follow up with our support team directly @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.

My two ring devices also stopped live view 2 days ago. The internet and router are fine, with many other devices working correctly. Has there been a software update?
