Spotlight Cam battery door is open …but it isn’t!

My spotlight cam has an alert in the settings page within the Ring app which states the battery door is open. The problem is, the door is closed. The PIR/strobe light has a permanent blue colour with the batteries inserted and door closed. Seems to function fine but with a permanent pretty blue light the battery drains quicker than usual and the alert in the app is annoying 😁 Checks the help docs and there’s no mention of a solid blue light and associated error -?

    Hi @Carcharodon.carcharias. I would start by performing a reboot of your device. You can do this by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing. Once that is complete, reconnect the device to WiFi and see if the error has cleared.
