Solar panel compatibility with stick up cam

I have a generation 2 stick up cam with solar panel charging. The solar panel is working fine. The camera, in spite of good wifi signal, occasionally goes offline. I can get it working by taking off the bottom cover and putting it back on. The battery is fully charged. What I really want to find out is whether the new version of the stick up cam is compatible with the solar panel I am currently using in terms of the plug. The back of the newer version doesn't appear to have a plug in location similar to the second generation. TIA
