Shared user no longer able to activate motion alerts for their app with a motion schedule

I've set a motion schedule for our Ring camera so that I'm only notified between 11pm and 8am. I've given access to this camera to a shared user who would like to activate motion alerts all the time and disregard the schedule. This used to be something they could do but it's no longer possible. Whenever they try to activate motion alerts they get a message saying they need to ask the owner to disable the schedule. Has there been a software update in the last month or so that now prevents them from setting their own motion alerts?
