Ring Device Is Currently Linked to Another Ring Account ?

I received the following error message when I tried to set up my ring device. "Ring Device Is Currently Linked to Another Ring Account" The device is not new. The device was previously linked to my account, then I reset the device ..and tried to relink..I get the error "Ring Device Is Currently Linked to Another Ring Account" Does anybody know how to fix this?

This means that the Ring was setup using a different email address than the one you are using to log in to the Ring app. Sometimes, this could be a spouse or partners email, or perhaps a family member that was with you during setup.
