Having to reset to get floodlight to keep motion detection
My Ring Floodlight camera has stopped turning on the light when motion is detected. The light can be turned on manually, and I am receiving motion alerts/notification. When it does this I have to reset the device from device health and then it goes back to functioning normally.. seems to be a daily affair which is a shame as I love my Ring setup. I have a battery stick up cam to the side of it (within a foot) facing the side of property and without issue and neither shows a wifi issue. This seems to only effect the motion at night which I use in disarmed. Great when it works but any clues why it freezes like this ?

Hi @Cheeseman. In the Ring app under Device Settings > Light Settings make sure the Motion-Activated Lights option is toggled on. This controls whether or not your Floodlight Cam will turn on the lights when motion is detected at night. The Motion Zones for Lights option will allow you to adjust the sensitivity for the motion detection that controls the lights.
