I had an Arris modem/ router combo for years and it worked great with my Floodlight Pro (which is 20ft outside on my garage). Last year my modem died and the new setup didn't connect to my Ring very well. At set up the voice dragged - seeeetuuuup suuuuucsesssssfuuul with choppy video and an RSSI between -41 to -58. I've swapped modems and routers, I've hooked up extenders and a day ago I had my internet folk confirm that I have a strong signal near my garage. I know it's not an issue on my ISP end. Is there anything else I can try? I read something about testing the Ring network but the instructions were not very clear. I've also read similar stories out here without a clear result. Not more than an hour ago someone was poking about in my yard so I would like a resolution as to if I need to junk the cam.

Hi @user_002938. That range of RSSI doesn't necessarily indicate a weak signal. Are you experiencing issues loading Live View, or are you only experiencing choppy video? Feel free to share an example of the video quality issues you're seeing. Having your ISP review your network was a good first step. Some other network troubleshooting steps you can try are to open the ports and protocols used by Ring devices, or change the wifi channel to a less congested one.
