Floodlight Camera Device Offline
Hi I've got a Ring Doorbell and a Floodlight Camera and use to pay for subscription to both but since March because of the rising costs I decided to cancel my Floodlight Camera and only subscribe for the Doorbell. The doorbell is working fine and as expected. The Floodlight Camera when I go into the app just keeps telling me the Device is Offline and when I click on it I cant do anything and cant see anything live. If I go outside Floodlight Camera picks up movement and sends me a message and if I click on it virtually straightaway I can have a live view and watch what is going on. I full understand that because I am not paying for it nothing is recorded, but is it correct that you cant view live without a subscription? I've ran through the reconnect process and reconnected to my WiFi and this has made no difference.

Finally managed to find the time to do as you suggested. In fact it was off for about 15 mins. Sadly no different

THi @user_d85823. Where specifically is your device telling you it is offline? What type of phone do you have and what version of the Ring app? Try deleting the Ring app, rebooting your phone, then reinstalling the Ring app. You can still live view without a subscription.

UI have an iPhone 14 Pro Max which I keep up to date and recently updated last week to IOS 18.5 and before that 18.4.x whatever the version was before 18.5 and it happened before the update. Ring app v5.85.0 before and after removing the app today. Rather strangely it started working out of the blue on Sunday, nothing I did etc. Yes I updated the IOS last week but not Sunday. Then this morning we had a power cut for about 10 minutes and its back the same showing as Device Offline, but I'm still getting alerts.

Hi @user_d85823. I would suggest "power cycling" your Floodlight Cam. You can do this by completely disconnecting it from power for at least 5 minutes. Once this is complete, follow the process to reconnect it to wifi. Let me know if this helps.
