Camera offline, not flashing blue when re-connecting
troubleshooting

Hi all, hoping someone else has had this issue and can help. I have two new cameras, one isn't used yet, one is outside. The outside one has been up and running for around 1 month with no issues. Both cameras went offline randomly (no power outage or obvious reason it went offline). I followed the troubleshooting prompts, I rebooted the wifi, I even charged the batteries to full just in case. The problem I'm having is that during the reconnecting to wifi, the app asks you to press the button on the bottom and wait for a flashing blue light. This doesn't happen. The prompt saying 'not flashing' just says check there's wifi and that there's battery, I confirm these are fine. To test a few things, I tried doing this prompt a number of ways, I brought the device inside closer to the wifi, still no blue light. I put a charged battery in the non-used camera as a controlled test and even this camera didn't have the blue flashing light. I confirm again that the wifi is working and I have other devices running smoothly on it. Both cameras were working perfectly previously.

Hi @user_9368f5. It sounds like there is no signs of life in your camera. Smart idea using a different battery. Since this is the case, you'll want to reach out to us to see if the device qualifies for a replacement. Feel free to send us a message on Facebook, Instagram or X @Ring. Thank you!
