Battery spotlight cam misting over
I’ve just bought and installed two spotlight battery cameras (purchased as a twin pack). The last two mornings with the temperature at -1 one of the cameras is completely misted over (“Garage”) in the attached images; “Patio” is the other one from the pair and this one is fine.

I have a condensation issue on the inside of the lens on our doorbell. It has improved slightly in the last couple of days but bringing it indoors overnight didn’t make any difference. Any ideas?

I know this was an op from some time ago, so this is a general observation on camera lens fogging, this happens when relatively cold air contacts the relatively warmer air inside the camera lens, this causes condensation on the warmer side, to prevent this would require the interior of the camera to be hermetically sealed by either a vacuum or purged and the Air replaced with an moisture free inert gas, or a heater near the lens to evaporate the condensation, at the price point of these cameras this would not be a reasonable expectation, while consideration of water exposure should be given when mounting exterior cameras, it is not possible to eliminate moisture in the air, sorry this is not a answer that offers a solution but is meant only as an explanation of the cause of the effect

Sorry to hear about this, @Kct67. While our Cameras are rated to operate in normal weather conditions, there are environmental factors that might exist. For condensation on the lens, many neighbors have shared success with using products like rainx, or fogging cleaner. If one location is more impacted by water than others, it is best to avoid areas with moisture when possible. I hope this helps! :)
