Uprading your Plan - Getting Double Billed

Has anyone else experienced this money grab from Ring? I just received a hit on my credit card for the standard plan. Just a couple of days into it I decide to upgrade to the next level plan so I went on site and upgraded to the middle level plan. What they did not tell you is that it is not an upgarde but a cancellation and a restart. Instead of prorating the time left on my account they charged me for the full month even though the new plan covers that period. It is only about five dollars but when you do that to thousands of people that adds up to hundreds of thousands if not a million dollars. I hope someone else will complain. Just pure greed and shows you they do not have the customers intreest at heart.

  • Oh by the way I called them and they said it was "policy" and then tried to "explain" the process to me. FAil
