I would like to say how silly it is that it has not been made very easy at all to upgrade from a standard plan to a premium plan The subscription forces you to buy a new plan at the fulll £159.99 without even any offers for existing customers to entice them to upgrade When the 24/7 recording became an option I was already part into contract . Yet to upgrade to the new premium plan I have been told I need to cancel my current standard plan then choose to buy the new premium plan However to do this you would potentially lose all existing benefits that you have. That meaning you would possibly have to lose your extended warranties for all devices as the rules here are clear you must keep your plans constantly active without any break in subscription! So you cannot cancel and then buy the new premium plan without losing your extended warranties for devices older than 1 year! How silly is this? How easy and surely possible it must of been to be able to pay to upgrade your existing plan for your remaining contract months? Instead your forcing us to cancel a plan and then wait for that refund to be processed only to then have to buy a brand new premium plan and lose access to all videos that’s already saved and lose access to your extended warranties? Surely it must be so easy to pay the difference to upgrade between now and contract renewal for me it would be around £100 I am mostly consisting the upgrade because my ring devices are missing significantly more footage than they ever used to do it’s as though it’s trying to force an upgrade, they’re not recoding anywhere near as much as they used to do and yes all settings and zones are correct they just do not record as much anymore Also my lights stay on despite the schedule telling them to stay off at certain hours 7 days a week. And audio is very poor on ring devices also zooming in the footage is rather grainy now

Hi @user_091b5c. This information doesn't sound correct. You can find out how to upgrade your plan here:   https://ring.com/gb/en/support/articles/mo3gg/How-to-Subscribe-to-a-Ring-Home-Plan   You can simply subscribe to the new plan, then cancel your old plan. This ensures that you don't have a lapse in coverage and no loss in benefits.
