Motion detection stopped working when I activated my Ring Protect account
troubleshooting

I had my Battery Door Bell Plus for three weeks, worked great, I then activated the Ring Protect plan before the free one expires.  Since then the Motion Detection has stopped working correctly, I've had to turn off Smart Alerts to at least get something, and this is inconsistent.  This is very annoying and disappointing, I thought subscribing to Ring Protect was supposed to give more benefits, not break the device! The door bell is linked to a Chime Pro, signal is perfect, I have rebooted the door bell twice, no difference.  Please someone explain why this has happened before I cancel the subscription and return the devices!!

    Hi @user_933e16. With a Ring Protect Plan, there are features that can filter out unwanted alerts. Check out this Help Center article here to refine your Motion Alerts.
