Timer for "Disarmed" mode
Please add a timer to "Disarmed" mode. I sometimes want to temporarily set my ring video doorbell to "Disarmed" mode when I go out front of my house. The problem is that I forget to set it to "Away" when I'm done. Having a timer would be a great addition to the app. After posting, I got an email stating that "Starting September 7, 2024, the Modes button will no longer appear on your Ring app home screen". I'm not happy with this change because I use the buttons on the home screen often. I'm not sure what the steps will be to easily disarm the system temporarily after the change. Once again, I'm not happy with this proposed change.

Thank you for response. A timer would be very helpful as stated. The only thing I can say regarding the proposed change in the app is to share another post of mine. "We were so pleased with our new ring doorbell and how the app worked. I was about to buy a second camera for the back yard and upgrading to the "Protect Plus Plan". Not anymore! Like many others I'm not happy with the proposed change of removing modes for the basic plan. Sad to say, but this sounds like another fine example of "American Greed". Doesn't the owner of ring make enough on the high market share they have. This will lose you some of that market share as time will show. Respectfully, Jamin1969"

Hi @Jamin1969. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are making a small update to the Ring app. The Modes button will no longer appear on the home screen for Ring Basic subscribers. You can still adjust individual camera Motion Schedules, Smart Alerts, and privacy settings through the device settings in the Ring app. For access to Modes, you will need to subscribe to the Ring Protect Plus plan.
