Removing a Window Sensor
The window sensor on our daughters bedroom stopped working after 1 year - we replaced the battery and no luck. No biggie we just bought another sensor and put it on the same window. I have taken down the old (offline) sensor - but I keep getting an error message when I try and REMOVE it from our list of equipment - so everytime we arm the house we have to bypass that old sensor....How can I REMOVE the non-working sensor??

Hey @MichelleW. To remove the old contact sensor, follow these steps: - Open up the Ring app and go to the main menu - Select Devices and then Alarm Base Station - Find the sensor you are trying to remove and select that - Select the gear/cog icon at the top right - Select Advanced Options - Select Remove Failed Device and then Remove Hope this helps!
