Ring Alarm
Glad break sensors. All say tampered
All my glass break sensors in different rooms say tampered and I keep showing that even after resets. Is there a bug? One has or for a year and always get either false or tampered alarms when nothing is happening

One is maybe 10 feet away behind a wall. Others are a bit further. I can try moving them closer Also reset them several times.

C@user83048 Yes, try moving the Glass Break Sensors close to the Base Station first. After that, remove the cover and reinstall it for each sensor. If the status is still not updating in the Ring app, please reach out to our support team at one of the numbers available here. You can also get in touch on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message.

Hi @user83048. If the Ring app says a sensor is ‘Tampered’, this indicates that the cover is not firmly in place. I’d recommend checking that the Glass Break Sensor’s cover is properly installed. Otherwise, it’s possible that the Glass Break Sensors may be out of range of the Ring Alarm Base Station, which would prevent the ‘Tampered’ status from being cleared. How far away from the Base Station is each sensor?
