Contact Sensor Faulty
Our alarm went off last night due to a faulty contact sensor saying tampered with multiple times. I have gone through all articles solution to resolve but it keeps reporting as tampered.

Hi @user61202. The tamper notification indicates that the cover of the Contact Sensor is not snapped fully into place. Try removing the cover and snapping it firmly back into place, which should remove the tampered notification. If it doesn't, the Contact Sensor may be too far away from the Base Station to properly report its status. In that case, try moving it closer to the Base Station to see if that resolves the issue. If the troubleshooting steps above don't help, and your Contact Sensor is still reporting as tampered, try [factory resetting](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000071906-How-to-Factory-Reset-Your-Ring-Alarm-Devices) the Contact Sensor and adding it back into the system.
