What wattage of wall charger for charging removable battery for stick up cam and doorbell and is the Ring battery charger better anyway?
I have both a doorbell and 3 stick-up cams, all of which have a removable battery which I charge by way of the orange USB cable provided (I also have spare batteries). I prefer to plug the orange USB cable in a wall charger adapter rather than plug into my computer. I have several wall chargers that fit the orange USB cable but they are all different wattages ranging from 5 watts to 45 watts. Question is, which one is appropriate and safe for the Ring removable battery? All the manual says is that charging takes 5 to 10 hours? Wondering if buying the Ring Battery charger is a better option? Any views? Grateful for any help? Thank you

As I needed an answer quickly, I approached Ring customer support. The answer is that it doesn't matter what the wattage of a wall charger is as the battery takes what it needs (which is quicker than using the USB socket of a computer). Since a computer USB port typically charges at 2.5 watts and this is the slowest way to charge the battery, I will likely use at least a 5 watts wall charger. I hope this information helps others in a similar position.
