Splice solar panel wire

I have: Solar Panel for Doorbells Video Doorbell 2, Video Doorbell 3, Video Doorbell 3 Plus, Video Doorbell 4 Wire is 20’. I need to extend. Can I cut wire and splice in more? If so, what **specific** kind of wire do I need? I’m assuming I can just splice with electrical wire? Thanks!!!
