Ring Chime Pro 2nd Gen flashing blue/green and then goes offline

troubleshooting

My several years old Chime Pro 2nd Gen has startet flashing blue and green and showing as disconnected in the Ring app. After a complete reset, remove and re-add ind the app, it was back to a constan tblue light, and I could control it from the app. Then yesterday it happend again. 2nd time within a week. Unplugged it overnight and when I plugged it in again after a while it was back to flashing blue and green. The night light came on and the app said it was installing an update and would be done in 15 mins tops. Coming back after several hours away, it's still flashing blue and green and now appears offline. Can this be a update gone wrong? And what can I do to fix it (if anything)?

Hi @cjessing. Based on what you're describing, it sounds like the update is not properly installing on the Chime Pro. Since a reset did not resolve this issue, I'd recommend getting in touch with our support team to see what other options are available.

I’m having the same trouble. My issue was coincidental with my changing to an eero mesh network. I have a friend who has the same problem with her eero network on a brand new Ring Chime Pro.
