Hi all,  I saw a ring range extender on amazon and thought how do they connect?  I looked up on my app to see if they are recognised on the adding item and all that comes up is a WiFi unit ring product. So do you need to buy that as well?

Hi @user_d8ea89. The Alarm Range Extender is only for Ring Alarm pieces. You cannot use it without the Alarm System.

If you are looking to increase the range of your wifi for a doorbell, look at Chime Pro, it might suit your needs.
