No drill mount failure - Ring 3

I rent my house so thought the no drill mount would be my best option. Unfortunately, we had some rain earlier today which caused the mount to fall off the wall a crack the doorbell in the top corner. I’m not really sure what I did wrong when I installed it. I made sure the door was clean, it was stuck on to wood and I made sure it was well attached before I drilled in the doorbell. Has anyone else had issues with the mount?

Sorry to hear about this, @Rachel998! The No Drill Mount's adhesive backing certainly will stick well on wood (stick best on painted wood). This adhesive, once mounted, should also work as intended despite having inclement weather. Water alone should not cause your No Drill mount to lose it's grip on the wall, but there are extra double sided tape pieces in the packaging, in case it is needed. In regards to your Video Doorbell being damaged in the fall, our support team may be able to assist further with that.
