Chrime Pro Wifi Extender Network if you do not ever use it?

If you do not use the Wi-Fi extender network function, does Chime pro still create a SSID or ghost SSID for 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks and broadcast these new extender networks consuming some of your Wi-Fi channel spectrum?

Hi @ken_bar. If you have a Chime Pro, but decide not to use the WiFi portion of the Ring Chime, the Ring Chime network will still be visible. If you don't want to use the WiFi network that the Ring Chime uses, you can use a Amazon Echo or Alexa device or a Ring Chime (not pro). I hope this helps!
