Chime flashes red 8 times

after wasting two hours with ring "support" and their non English speaking staff I decided to try this myself. LED flashes blue, green than red 8 times before returning to green flash. I'm trying to find the meaning of the 8 red flashes. Thank You

    Hi @boss302. A red flashing light indicates that there is no internet. Try moving the Chime closer to your internet router for setup. If you are still having issues, try resetting the Chime and then attempt setup again. If you are still have the flashing red lights, try connecting the Chime to a wifi hotspot. This will let you know if there is an issue with your network that may be blocking the Chime from connecting.
