Z wave compatible devices not working
z-wave
I have an older kwikset smart lock that work with Vivint but can’t seem to get it working with ring even though ring works off of z wave technology. This also happening with the thermostat. Any help would be appreciated

Hi @Am7315. Do you have a Ring Alarm Base Station? This is how Z-Wave compatible devices are integrated with Ring. First, check to see if the specific lock you have is listed [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017691131-Z-Wave-Locks-Compatible-With-Ring-Alarm) as a compatible device. Next, you may need to reset the lock to its factory settings before it will pair with the Base Station. Let me know if this helps!
