Video Time Stamp is off by 4 hours (UTC - EST)
This appears to have started sometime yesterday, I noticed it in a few videos captured overnight. The timestamp in the history list in the app on my phone is correct, but when you play the video, the displayed timestamp is 4 hours ahead which is the difference between EST and UTC. I logged into my online account on the computer and the time stamps appear to match there so it may just be an android app issue.

I and several friends are having the same issue. Also noticed in a video posted in the Ring Neighbors community a video was time stamped 4 hours ahead of when the person was reported the incident happening. This is definitely a system wide issue and possibly only with the Android platforms. My neighbor with an iPhone reported not having an issue. All I know is Ring needs to address and correct this asap.

I just started having the same issue. Everything was fine, then I flew to California. It worked correctly out there. The timestamp on the video in the history was correct for California time (Pacific Time) and when I played the video the timestamp displayed at the top of the video was correctly translated to Central Time (adding two hours to the time displayed in the list of videos). Then I flew back to Alabama, and now the timestamp on the video list is correct for Central Time but the timestamp displayed when I play the video is 5 hours ahead of the correct time. This would correspond to GMT since Central Time is now GMT -5. So did something change the displayed timestamp in the video player to GMT?

This issue has been resolved in app version XXXX. Check the app store to see if you have an update available for the Ring app. Please keep in mind that app updates are performed on a slow rollout, so you may not see an update available yet. Thank you all for your continued patience.
