Hi, I received a ring video doorbell 2 with the purchase of a house. When I tried to set it up on my account, I was told that the people who sold the house and doorbell to me were still the owners of the doorbell and I needed them to deactivate the account. This can take up to 15 days. How do I make it go faster than this? And if you’re selling the camera with the house, why don’t you also deactivate it from your account as soon as you move? Hi @user_0690a0. It sounds like the original owner may have forgotten to remove the Doorbell from their account in the process of selling the house. There is no way to speed up the device ownership transfer, but you can reach out to our support team to see if there's any update on your request.
