Ring won't accept my payment for a plan
I used to have a monthly plan for my doorbell, but for some reason it lapsed, I guess because payment didn't process (not sure why because my credit card information hasn't changed since I first signed up). I've been trying to sign up again for a long time and it's like Ring just doesn't want my money. I tried multiple times from the app and I keep getting a message about the payment not being able to be processed. It tells me to check my billing address, but my billing address is correct. I tried again on my computer and it still doesn't work. I tried every card I have multiple times and I still get the same message about the billing address. It's been months since I've been able to have videos record on my doorbell because of this. Is anyone else having this issue? I've seen several posts over the last few months from people saying they're having different problems with making payments to Ring. You would think the company would fix these issues because it's costing them money.

I am in the same boat, except, I never had an account before... new to ring. I called and was able to determine to find a customer service agent you have to act like you want to talk to sales. FOUR CREDIT CARDS were rejected. Finally, it accepted ONE. (AFTER the system rejected the expiration month of "10" for not having two numbers?!?!?!) For less then 24 hours, it accepted that payment. Now, that card is rejected too. Look, I have been in the same home with the same account for 10 years. I just want my money back at this point. I should not have to go thru this many attempts to get the service to work... I am just going to have to file a complaint with my credit card for service not as described and seek a refund, because obviously, Ring cannot provide me with the services they claimed to be able to provide. This is RIDICULOUS.

ASame for me. Tried two cards, both definitely assigned to my home address. I talked with a lady after a half hour wait. She got me to go through the whole process of setting up a new account three times and each time the same message. I was told I’d get a call back, that never happened. Very frustrating. I’m now left with a product with one of the key features being unusable.

IIt’s November 25th, right now. Seems like this thing is still going on. Trying to select a plan before my 24 days goes out for my Protect Plan. Why has no one already fixed that??? X(

LSame problem here. My credit card has been rejected many many many times. Call customer service and after 2h they told me they can’t do anything to help me. Seriously? I just want to pay my 50$ protection plan. Is that so difficult to get right? They asked me to call a number to enter my credit card numbers. But then again, credit card was rejected. They asked me to create a new account with a different email address. Same problem. Too bad I didn’t order on Amazon, I would have return everything right away.
