Invitations are limited, and we do not have any information on an estimated time frame for when you might hear back after requesting a purchase invite, as Amazon is in charge of the invites. :)

  I’ve been on the list for almost a year with not a peep out of Amazon. I am currently using a full Google Home (35 devices) smart system that I want to swap out with a complete planned Amazon Echo system, but I am waiting for some response from Amazon as to availability. I have pretty much lost patience with Amazon. I have already found several solid alternatives that I am considering. Amazon can fly Jeff Bozo into space but cant deliver a product on a timely basis. Jeffery used to say, “be obsessed with the customer.” I think he meant be obsessed with dangling carrots just out reach and never delivering.

  What is the current and future status of the public release of the Always Home Cam? I signed up a long time ago to receive an invitation from Amazon to purchase the product, but have not received any updates or a follow-up of any kind. From what I now understand, based on a conversation I had with a Ring Customer Service Representative, and based on what the Ring and Amazon platforms are currently showing regarding the product’s release, as shown in the attached screenshot below, it appears Ring / Amazon is no longer moving forward with the public release of the product. After all of the hype and promoting that Ring / Amazon did for the Always Home Cam, the fact that they decided out of nowhere, to no longer move forward with the sale of the device, is understandably infuriating. I, along with so many dedicated and loyal Ring / Amazon customers, was so excited to finally be able to purchase this product. Since the Always Home Cam was announced in XXXX, customers have been patiently waiting literally for years for its release. There was talk of it being released in XXXX or early XXXX. Now, it’s not being released at all?! That is extremely disappointing! Ring / Amazon needs to get the issues with the product worked out so the public can finally begin purchasing it. You don’t put out all of that hype for years, then out of nowhere, just drop a massive hammer of disappointment on the public with no explanation, whatsoever. I strongly believe the public deserves to read or hear a press release directly from Ring / Amazon leadership explaining in specific detail what the current and future status is for the Always Home Cam. If the status is that the public release of the product is being terminated permanently, then the public deserves to know why, and again, in specific detail.
