Offline recording

Hi there, we lost WiFi connection and both devices went offline. We had someone kinda sketchy around the house at the time and was wondering if the device records even while offline so when we get our WiFi back can we recover footage during that time?

Hi @user_59c3fd. Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras do not record while offline, as they require an active wifi connection to operate. If you have a Ring Alarm Pro, you can look into using 24/7 backup internet to keep your devices online during a temporary wifi outage. This does require the Ring Alarm Pro subscription as well.
