Neighbour intrusion
cs-support

I have been a Ring customer for years however just recently a neighbour of ours has installed a Ring doorbell and Camera that is recording and looking directly into our property. They complained about ours a few months ago but we proved that we were not recording or even pointing direct at any of their property. Now they have installed a doorbell and camera that directly looks at our property and records alao because I can see the activity light coming on. IO can only assume they have weaponised the system to aggravate us and invade our privacy. I am all for the Ring system but when it is used as a blatant weapon surely this is breaking some sort of law? Can anyone please help because we are seeking legal advice which would then possibly drag Ring into this dispute.

Laws are different the world over. For a start, you could be best recommended to tell us where you are in the world as this forum is international. Though to be honest, Ring do all they can to ensure privacy, but the use of the features are up to the end-user. If you have proved your neighbour's privacy, why not ask them to prove yours? If they are unwilling to do so then the options are based on the laws of your country which you can search for on Google.
