How soon does Monitoring Center call after alarm?

Hi - how soon does the monitoring center call after the alarm goes off? I'm on the professional monitoring plan. I've had the alarm go off a few times so far, all false alarms and i've disabled them maybe within 10 secs. This morning the alarm was ringing for probably 30 seconds before i got to disable, yet no confirmarion call from the center. I'm just wondering what the general latency is to expect a confirmation call. Thanks!

Everytime I've had a false alarm I've received a call with 30 seconds after cancelling it to confirm. That's been my experience.

Thank you Eagle328! I guess i'll have to call up Ring to see what's going on.

Definitely give them a call. They should be able to see everything that happened at that time.

That is if you elect to receive those calls. It is not automatic that you get a call when the alarm is cancelled in time. His Question was the time for a call when the alarm actually sounds & is not cancelled in time.

If it goes off while I'm out. 30 seconds from when my notification pops up I get a call. If at home and alarm goes off and I cancel it on my keypad, the same amount of time. I'm also in the US if that matters.

Hi @madsam06! There's a new feature that allows you to turn on or off a confirmation call. With the confirmation call turned off, if you disable an accidental alarm before the monitoring center calls you, then your emergency contacts list will not receive a call and there will be no dispatch. The steps for enabling/ disabling this call can be found in this [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033047192-Getting-a-Confirmation-Call-when-you-Cancel-an-Accidental-Alarm). Also, you might find interest in our [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021614892-Getting-a-Call-from-Ring-s-Professional-Monitoring-Center) about emergency responses, which lists each emergency signal/ alarm scenario and the related monitoring process. I hope this helps! :)
