Video doorbell not detecting cars

Question

Hello, I noticed that the video doorbell was once detecting cars going by and now it does not. It also used to detect my husband mowing the lawn, and now it does not the only difference that we did was we added a wedge to it because it was installed on siding. Then this morning it did detect one vehicle after that none. We do want the detection of the vehicles going by thank you.

Hi @user41427. If you added a Wedge to the Doorbell it will angle it downward a bit which will also angle the motion sensor downward. I would recommend going into your [Motion Settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) and making some changes like increasing the Motion Sensitivity to max. You can also adjust your Motion Zones again and if you have [Smart Alerts](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032947972-Refining-Your-Motion-Alert-Notifications-for-People-and-Other-Motions-) enabled, verify you have 'Other Motion' toggled on to record and alert. Thanks, I removed the wedge which angles camera better with o the street. One day it detected all vehicles, now it does not again. I have sensitivity all the way up and toggled to all motion. I’m at a loss at this point on what to do
