Doorbell Wired | Chime

We bought a house that already has a Doorbell Wired | Chime from Ring. I have downloaded the software and trying to get it into reset mode indicated by the spinning light on the doorbell. However I expect I need to do a factory reset and can't get the darn faceplate off. This ring device is all black is wired and looks like they attached it directly to the house instead of the mounting bracket.

Hi @user_b84b89. There should be a security screw on the bottom of it. Once you remove it, you should be able to remove the faceplate easily. It is not a normal screw; you will need a special type of screwdriver for it. Did they leave you this tool?
