Blinking blue light

My ring doorbell has had this constant blinking blue light around the top half of the button. I noticed that other people were told that it may be charging or updating. It’s been a couple of days now so if it were updating it should be done. The bell is hardwired so it would not need to be charged. The bell also worked just fine for about two months. To top it off I have a chime pro WiFi booster. So I don’t understand what the problem is. I’m missing alerts it isn’t ringing when you press it. This sounds like a universal issue. Not a WiFi or updating issue. Please help!!!
