Bereavement Process
Appalling, every company I’ve have dealt with have had a swift painless process….but I noticed a debit on my credit card for a Ring Subscription (on a bhol), odd as I never sign up to annual subscriptions especially when I dont know if they are going to be needed a year in advance. I called Ring requesting a refund as this is no longer required. I was told they had to verify the account, fine, but my parent is deceased, was told I needed to create an Ring account, I do not need or want an account just a refund to MY credit card! I have a copy of the death certificate and I’m an executor of the estate. (I do not have access to my parents email so can’t see the security code may send). Having gone around the houses I gave up as the person wasn’t easy to understand. Called again and have been advised to raise a dispute with the Bank … why should they have to spend their time and resources on sorting this out, this should be simple reversal. It would also seem there is no complaints process! You’re told to post to the community and the categories don’t apply! I did and comment doesn’t seem to appear! So having to post again. I can see why the Trust pilot rating is so low!
