Bell wire and trickle charge.

Will the thin bell wire provide enough to do the trickle charge or do I need a thicker gauge wire than bell wire?

Great question, @Ptrug! Power flow will depend on the type and gauge of wire being currently used. If wires are too thin or too long of a wire run, it can certainly cause resistance in voltage supplied for a trickle charge. I always recommend using something thicker than 24 gauge (between 18 - 24 gauge) and avoiding a wire run of more than 100 feet, if possible. Cat5 spliced and grouped wiring can also cause resistance. I hope this helps! :)
