Remove Protection Plan Ad

Question

How can i remove the Protection Plan Ad do i msy see who's on my porch? I get notifications someones at the door but when i click I get your Ring Protect trial has expired.  I don’t want it. I want the free basic.

Hi @user26495. Having access to a Live View does not require any Protect Plan and should not ask you to add a [Protect Plan](https://ring.com/protect-plans). You may be tapping notifications that are trying to take you to a recording rather than a Live View. This means when the notification comes in, you may be tapping it thirty seconds to a minute later than when it actually came in. Therefore, it will try to take you to the recording rather than a Live View . If you do not have a Protection Plan, you can not access recordings.
