Too many distracting alerts when using sat nav

I wish there was a way the ring app automatically turned off alerts when using sat nav on my phone. I found the ring alerts were constantly covering the top of my screen where my next junction alert was. As the law no longer allows us to touch our screens when driving this meant asking my passenger to repeatedly swipe off the alerts so I could see my map instruction. I silenced it the next time but it should be easy to have a setting where it’s disabled automatically when phone being used as a sat nav
