Motion Warning NOW on ALL DEVICES
ALL WIRED DEVICES NEED MOTION WARNING NOW!!! I can’t believe the plug in stickup cam gen 3 is still waiting for it, when you announced it was already rolling out for this and more models. When will it be rolled out?! ALL WIRED DOORBELLS NEED MOTION WARNING TOO - ASAP! “Warning! Person Detected! Hello, this is Ring. You are being recorded. Occupant has been notified.” Ridiculous to think someone is going to wait for the camera to detect motion, open the app, then speak to the criminal through the speaker. It should absolutely be automatic, right now. Also add new Quick Reply option for Doorbells: “ Hello, this is Ring Home Security. You are being recorded and monitored. Occupant has been notified. Please state the reason for your visit.” Most of the other responses are pleasant and welcoming, but make it sound like you are not home, completely defeating the purpose. I have no interest being pleasant. I want to scare people away. You actively chose not to offer an option lime this. It’s so obvious I just assumed it was available. I can’t fathom why it isn’t. I’m really disappointed. If firmware updates are not coming extremely soon (when?!) to correct these issues, I’ll be returning my equipment.

I just installed my ring doorbell 4 and am so disappointed that this feature is not available. I don't want a video watching someone steal something from my porch, I want the expensive technology that I purchased to chime and deter them from stealing in the first place 🤬

I would like to put in a request that the "Motion Warning" feature in the Ring app be made available for the Ring Spotlight Cam (Solar). I feel that this would help deter those that trespass on our property from doing so, since it would be an audible alert/warning. We have three of these cameras around our property with each having an additional battery and the combined difference between both batteries has not been less than 90% charge, even on the dark and overcast winter months, for any of them. Thank you for your consideration.

VI second this. While I understand the logic behind it possibly draining batteries too fast if triggered continuously, those of us who have invested in the solar accessories should still be able to make use of the feature. Honestly, everyone should be able to activate it, along with a disclaimer on possible battery drain and frequency/scheduling controls.

This feature should be available for all devices having a camera. 1. They all can record footages, but only some can notify people? nonsense. 2. Ring app has options for this for all cameras, but it shows when it tries to enable it, and it says "hey this device doesn't support it. Please consider to buy another one?" nonsense. (Hey I already bought this - why do you try to make me do a thing twice?) 3. There is a concern for battery usage. Isn't it responsible for users? nonsense. Please, give us the feature. We will handle it in a way whatever we want. Thanks.

I have the Ring Video Doorbell 2. When I opened the settings today, I noticed a new feature labeled Motion Warning. However, when I try to turn this feature on, I receive a message stating “This Ring device doesn’t support motion warning.” My question is, can this feature be added to the lower model ring devices? This feature works great on my spotlight camera and I would love to see it added to my video doorbell.
