Add Motion Detection snooze option

** Please note I am speaking of motion detection snooze, not motion notification snooze** Currently there is no option to snooze motion detection, for 30 minutes. 1 Hr etc. , like there is for motion notification. The options are on/off, so if you are washing your car in front of the doorbell or camera, or the lawn crew arrives, there is no way to *snooze* detection for an hour. You have to turn it off, then remember to turn it on again.

I’d like to snooze video recording aka motion detection (in ring jargon). There’s an option to snooze alerts but the camera still turns on and records, using up battery and filling up my history with junk. Use case: Someone is doing yard work walking around where they have their cameras. Instead of turning motion detection off and having to turn it back on layer, let them snooze it. I’ve burned through batteries fast with my ring spotlight camera while doing stuff around the house. Snoozing alerts doesn’t help save battery, storage space, recordings in the camera timeline, etc. Similarly it would be nice to be able to snooze lights too. Or not exactly, a reverse snooze I guess, where you can turn your floodlights on for a couple hours and they turn back off automatically. Should I create a post for that too?

BUMP! I am on my 3rd upgrade now and still no way to snooze Motion Detection. Unbelievable that this basic option is still not implemented. I don’t want 17 videos of my lawn crew and 47 videos of me detailing my car. If your developers don’t have the skills to make the option variable (30 mins. 1 hour etc.) at least provide us with a single 30 minute or 1 hour option. Disabling detection, which is the only option available, is unusable as you may forget to turn it back on for days.

I would really like to snooze detection. I don't need to record myself cleaning my porch for example. When turning motion detection off while not needed, there is the risk of forgetting to turn it back on.
