Ability to reboot devices from app
Occasionally, my stick up cam and spotlight cam have issues. The only way to fix it is to remove and replace the battery to restart the device. It would be more convenient if there was a reboot option in the app. I can't understand why this isn't already a feature. Thank you.

You are NOT alone in wanting this feature! There are also many similar posts in other Ring forums, but now Ring Teams look for request here in the "Feature Board Request" forum, and so I did not include those other too numerous links. I just linked only "Feature Board Requests." The Ring Teams n

Djust a suggestion in case you hadn’t thought of it. Connect your camera etc to smartplugs. Once your internet connection is restored, you could possibly reboot your camera’s etc by rebooting your smartplugs. That’s what I do for one of my non ring cameras.

Hello,A year ago, I emailed Ring about implementing the most needed and most important feature the app needs. The ability to be able to power cycle, or reboot the cameras. The only way to do so is it cut the power through the electrical breaker (if hardwired like floodlight/spotlight). It's the year 2020, and Ring is the only Smart IoT company I own products of, that doesn't have the ability to reboot products conveniently and remotely through the app. Please include this much needed feature at earliest convenience. Thank you.

GThis feature is critical! I have several cameras that are very remote, connected over a Wireless mesh. When the mesh controller needs to be rebooted, the cameras will connect (with horrible Wifi signal) back to main network, and I have to wait for HOURS for them to switch back to the Mesh AP that

SLikewise, I contacted Ring directly via Twitter many months ago, and I can’t see how/why this hasn’t been implemented yet. At the very least you would expect this to be a debug feature - utterly ridiculous that a device has to be manually reset every time it connects to the wrong/weak node of a wire

The ability to Reset a Ring Device (Floodlight Cam, Spotlight Cam, Stick Up, Video Doorbells, Chime Pro, Chime) from the app should be provided. It is sometimes (always) inconvenient to have to open up a Doorbell anor access the button on a Floodlight/Spotlight/Stick Up Cam or Chime. This perhaps could even be used to trigger much needed Firnware Updates which only seem to occur if you reset the device or remove the battery.

Ability to potentially reboot individual cameras would be great. As I have a bigger house, the WiFi has sometimes issues, I have 3 WiFi Access Points around the house, but it seems not always to be changing to the closer point, so restarting (at the moment by removing battery and putting back in again) would help it find the better signal for WiFi.

I have a Ring alarm system that I operate remotely (i.e., hundreds of miles away). The system often loses its Internet connection due to weather and power outages. My modem and router will power cycle every 30 minutes until the connections are restored. Unfortunately my wired Stick Up Cameras fail to reconnect to WiFi even though the settings are the same. Power cycling the cameras fixes the problem, but I can't do that remotely. I would like a setting that allows the cameras to check Internet connectivity and to power cycle (or reset the wifi connection) when connectivity is lost. Thank you.
