2020 WiFi Hacking Surge!
With an increase in neighbour wifi hacking since 2020 as people were trapped indoors, it is now affecting the 2.5Ghz wifi connections with my wired Ring doorbell & Stick-up camera as they are eating up my 300Mb bandwidth and knocking it out of connection. I have a wired doorbell (transformer power supply) but it still needs WiFi for connection. A wired doorbell should be completely WiFi free. Any wired or hardwired devices should not need WiFi to function. All your doorbells/security cameras that currently uses WiFi needs to either: * have a software upgrade to use higher security protocols, WPA3+, etc.; * A price difference product exchange for a 5G model with high security protocols or * a price difference product exchange for an Ethernet version which is much safer, secure & without interferences. Right now, my wired Ring doorbell, Stick-up camera, Chime & Chime Pro are offline until I sort out a solution. :rage: :rage: :exploding_head: :exploding_head:
