Unable to change temperature via Ring App for Honeywell T6 Z wave thermostat
Hi, I recently included Honeywell T6 Z wave thermostat to Ring system. However, I am unable to increase/decrease temperature from Ring app on the iPhone. Pressing the up/down button does not have any effect. Anybody faced this?

Did you ever figure out this issue? I have the same issue. I have it setup for heat and there is a snowflake above the temperature down button in the app, and it won’t allow me to change the temp in the app. I’ve removed and re-added several times and it hasn’t fixed it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

UI’m late to this thread but my own searches led me here and I finally solved MY situation so thought I’d share. Mine was behaving as others described, where the app showed current temp and I could change mode but could not alter the target temperature. After many pointless disconnect/reconnect, I did 3 things differently and I don’t know which fixed it but now it’s working for me. The 3 things I did: I did a factory reset on the Honeywell T6 Pro (Z-wave) I rebooted my Ring alarm base station which seemed to perform an “update” I lied to the thermostat about having heating and cooling modes. (I only have heat on my oil-burning boiler) I suspect ring doesn’t understand a thermostat with only one mode. Anyway - I FINALLY have remote temperature control which is all I wanted so I could warm my vacation house BEFORE I get there.

HI @user3295. Have you tried removing the Honeywell thermostat and relinking it in the Ring App? If you haven't already, I'd recommend giving this troubleshooting step a try and then testing the controls in the Ring App. Make sure your Ring App and phone's OS are fully updated as well.
