Amazon Alexa + Ring
All Ring devices say “unresponsive” in Alexa app
No matter what i do, in the Alexa app my ring control unit, door/window switches, and water sensors all say unresponsive. But they all work correctly (with Alexa and without). Ive removed them all and re-added them, removed and re-added the Ring skill, etc. this started fairly recently.

I have the exact same problem since last night. I followed all of the steps you suggested and nothing helped. All the ring devices still indicate unresponsive. I have confirmed that the correct accounts are linked. How can I get my ring devices to work with Alexa again?

CHi @BSK. If you’ve tried all of the troubleshooting steps above, and your Ring devices are working properly in the Ring app, I’d recommend checking out Amazon Alexa’s Help Center for additional assistance.

Hi @aaciii. Thank you for trying those troubleshooting steps to try and resolve your concern. The order in which these steps are done can make a difference. Follow these steps: Disable the Ring Skill in the Alexa app. Remove the Ring devices from the Alexa app. Uninstall the Alexa app and reboot your phone. Install the Alexa app, add the Ring Skill, and discover your Ring devices. This Help Center article will provide directions on how to do some of the steps I have mentioned. If these steps did not resolve your concern, and your Ring devices are working fine in the Ring app, you can find more help in Amazon Alexa’s Help Center. Thank you.
