I bought a Ring spotlight from Home Depot
I bought a ring spotlight from Home Depot and it’s saying it’s registered to another user. I would like to have it removed from whatever user it’s registered to, because they clearly don’t have it.

Hi @Firetech2. Transferring ownership of a Ring device can be accomplished by our support team. There are specific requirements and process depending on the status of the device. More information about this process can be found in this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/art

I just purchased a Ring indoor cam off eBay used, it also was registered to another user, I have proof of purchase but ring clearly didn’t want to help me get the camera to my name. I have a subscription and 27 cameras around my property, I am really thinking of throwing all of them in the garbage and start with another brand. If you cant reregister ring devices after they are sold to a second person what good are they. I understand people steak these cams and try to move them for sake of getting a free camera but when there is proof of purchase, seriously, frustrated with this company.
