Ring pro 2 water ingress

Hi, Has anyone had this problem with water getting in around the plastic cover over the camera? Doorbell isn’t even a year old yet paid £219 for it and been told on the phone by customer service that physical failure isn’t covered by warranty only technical failure. Pretty shocked that I’ve paid that amount of money for it and the warranty is useless to help. Doorbell is under a canopy so does not get exposed to much rain at all. Was offered a 30% voucher as a courtesy but I won’t be buying another ring product now.
